In order to expand peace education efforts in its over 8,200 member cities in 166 countries and regions around the world, Mayors for Peace holds a children’s art competition on the theme of Peace, for children from 6 to 15 years old in cities all over the world.
Mayor Malik Evans invites children in the City of Rochester to submit an artwork on the theme "What Peace Means to Me"
The top forty entries will be displayed in the Link Gallery at City Hall and five entries will be selected to go to Hiroshima Japan for the international Mayors for Peace competition!
